Katie O'Connor

Originally from Colorado Springs, Katie O’Connor has called the mountains home since 2022, drawn to the small-town atmosphere and outdoor lifestyle. With 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Katie has worked at a variety of Denver-area restaurants, including The Tavern Group, Postino WineCafe, and Lucile’s Creole Cafe.

Katie fell in love with the restaurant industry from day one, drawn to the fast-paced environment, the connections made with guests, and the constant opportunities to learn about food and beverages. She first joined the Sweet Basil team as a server and bartender in 2022. After some time away, she’s excited to be back at a place that feels like home.

When she’s not at work, Katie spends her days outdoors with her dog, Fiona Bagel, who joins her on daily hikes. She also enjoys yoga, snowboarding, and just about anything that keeps her active and enjoying the Colorado mountains.
